“Pre-Prosthetic Tissue Grafting” by Dr Gary V. Brillo
Bone grafting can be an essential procedure prior to prosthesis construction. Different bone grafting techniques can be done to enhance bone volume that would lead to better hard and soft tissue contour in effect improving esthetics of final prosthesis. It can also be done to increase bone dimensions of denture bearing areas thus improving denture stability and retention. But most commonly, bone grafting therapy is performed on areas where there is deficient bone prior to dental implant placement to achieve the correct angulation of placement resulting to more predictable prosthetic results. Grafting is an essential pre-prosthodontics surgical procedure that would greatly enhance esthetic and functional results of prosthesis.
The presentation will discuss the different grafting materials and its indication. It will also show the different surgical techniques in performing effective bone enhancing procedures.

Hands-on Implant Training Program

Dr. Ramonito R. Lee’s 2-D Implant Hands-on Implant Training Program will take place on March 20 2011 from 1:00PM to 5:00 PM at R. Lee Oral Surgery and Implantology center 470 San Rafael St San Miguel Manila near Ceu Dentistry 470 San Rafael St. San Miguel Manila. Training program fee is P20,000, less 10% for cash or P5,000 per meeting total of four meetings for the lecture. All meetings have hands-on training.
